When you hire a NAPPS pet sitter you can be secure in the knowledge that your pet will be getting the very best care. All NAPPS members are required to sign and abide by a Pledge of Professional Conduct. NAPPS provides certification programs and educational tools to help the pet sitter and their clients. They also conduct an Annual Conference for further education and business development for their members.
The American Red Cross
Did you know that the American Red Cross offers pet first aid and cpr training? They offer 5 hour classes which you learn to recognize illness and care for injuries to your dog or cat. Bring a stuffed pet along and learn how to splint and bandage a paw as well as rescue breathing, chocking response and cpr. Anyone who is fortunate to own a dog or cat will benefit from this program.
